In practice since 1998
“I was always very nearsighted… and always amazed at the improvement in my vision when I would get new glasses. Also, my father was an optometrist, and I started working for him when I was just 15. I enjoyed watching him help people, and I realized that I wanted to help others in the same way.
“Today, after more than a decade as an optometrist, I enjoy the same things about eyecare as I did when I was a teen. I know I’m making a difference in people’s lives, and it’s a great feeling to be able to diagnose a problem, treat it and help someone prevent vision loss. I also enjoy the simple act of interacting with people. I feel not only like an eye doctor but a friend who is looking out for their best interests and striving to help them have a better quality of life. I care about them, and I want what’s best for them. And I know that this starts with understanding that each person is unique and addressing their concerns, problems and objectives on an individual basis.”
